Abhi and Kris’ Wedding at Jay Peak

Abhi and Kris’ awesome Wedding Weekend started with a traditional Indian Wedding ceremony Friday morning. It was very intimate affair attended by their best friends and family. It was my fist Indian ceremony and I was excited to photograph it. I was told it was the shorter more condensed version as traditional Indian ceremonies usually take hours and sometimes even span days. We reconvened that afternoon for the rehearsal at elevation 4000 and then the rehearsal dinner. Everyone enjoyed some great Indian food, pizza and plenty of local brews.

We started Saturday with Abhi and Kris getting ready and then the first look by Jay’s pond. After some more pictures we jumped on the tram and went up once more for the main ceremony. It was another gorgeous Summer day although I could have used some overcast as the sun on top can be quite harsh. Some of the groomsman including Kris even went for a short climb to the very top. Abhi and Kris said I do and sealed it with a kiss and it was on to the party.
