Derek and Emily’s Wedding at Jay Peak

Sunday was another gorgeous Summer day. Perfect for a wedding at Jay Peak where Derek and Emily said I do. After the couple got ready we took the tram to the top to escape the heat. At elevation 4000 there was a nice, cool breeze and we didn’t have to deal with the 85 degree heat. We staged a quick first look and then some portraits. We made it down with enough time for Emily and Derek to chill in front of the AC and get ready for their big moment. They said I do at the pond in front of their families and friends. At this time the heat wave was gone and we enjoyed some shade that made my work much easier. We took care of some more formalities and then it was on to the party that included some very innovative choreographed dancing, singing, great speeches, amazing food and delicious cupcakes. It was all topped of by a sparkler send-off.
