Alyssa and Nick’s Wedding at The Barn at Lord Howe Valley

My second stop on this super busy weekend was at Ticonderoga for Alyssa and Nick’s big day. The weather was super hot and the sun quite punishing at times. Fortunately for us there were quite a few clouds that softened the harsh light. Alyssa and Nick said I do at Saint Marry Catholic Church in Ticonderoga. After it was made official we stopped by their lake house for some refreshments and some portraits of the couple and the bridal party. We even got to play with a 1930s vintage car that made for some great shots. Alyssa even got to twirl in her wavy dress! It was only natural to stop for some ice cream at the Wind Chill Factory on the way to the barn. The reception was held at The Barn at Lord Howe Valley. It was my first time shooting there and the place was absolutely beautiful and gorgeously decorated and most importantly of all air conditioned! Once the sun was low enough we stepped out, braved the heat and got some cool shots with the mountains in the background.
