The Barm at Smuggler’s Notch, Jeffersonville VT
Charlotte and Bradley’s wedding at The Barn at Smugglers’ Notch was a beautiful reminder that sometimes, a little patience pays off in the most wonderful way. They had their hearts set on an outdoor ceremony on the lawn, surrounded by the Green Mountains. But just as it was about to begin, the skies opened up and a sudden rain shower rolled in.
Instead of rushing to a backup plan, Charlotte and Bradley decided to wait, hoping the summer storm would pass. A few minutes later when the rain stopped and the clouds began to part. They were able to have the beautiful outdoor ceremony, made even more special as they were married by one of their best friends.
The celebration moved inside the barn, where guests enjoyed an evening of delicious food, plentiful cocktails, and a series of touching speeches and dances. The good fortune with the weather continued, as the stormy skies gave way to a stunning golden hour. We stepped out for a few gorgeous portraits in that perfect light.
