The morning of Kimmy and Dean’s wedding at The Barn at Smugglers’ Notch started off shaky, it was raining all morning. But just as it was time for the first look, the clouds parted and the sun came out, and we got a stunningly beautiful afternoon.

The celebration kicked off with two very special and emotional first looks: first, Kimmy shared a reveal with her dad, and then she had her first look with Dean. We immediately took advantage of the beautiful weather—and Kimmy’s gorgeous long veil— for some couple portraits around the property.

With the sun shining, the ceremony took place on the lawn. It was a perfect setting for Kimmy and Dean to exchange their vows.

Before they joined their reception, we snuck away for a few more portraits in the gorgeous golden hour light that was streaming over the mountains. After that, it was time to party! The reception was a lot of fun, filled with great dances, touching speeches, and a dance floor that was packed all night. Everyone enjoyed the perfect Vermont evening and had a wonderful time celebrating the happy couple.
